Our featured artist this week is The Pretty Reckless, who have made history multiple times with their string of #1 singles.

The Pretty Reckless formed in 2009 and have since consisted of vocalist Taylor Momsen, guitarist Ben Phillips, bassist Mark Damon and drummer Jamie Perkins.

While their 2010 debut album Enlighten me spawned the single “Make Me Wanna Die”, the follow-up to the record in 2014 go to hell really put them on the map. “Heaven Knows” was their first single to top the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, and they had several consecutive No. 1s thereafter, including “Take Me Down” from their third album. Since then, the group has scored three more chart-topping tracks from their 2021 album. death by rock and roll – the title track, “And So It Went” and “Only Love Can Save Me Now”. They are the only rock band in history led by a woman to have seven No. 1s.
