A great double classic rock lineup arrives on the Ridgefield Playhouse stage – Robby Krieger (The Doors) with special guest Vanilla Fudge on Wednesday November 17th at 8pm!
Krieger, who was the band’s guitarist and songwriter, leads a celebration of The Doors music with his Robby Krieger Band and special guest vocalist Waylon Krieger, his son. Hits include “Light My Fire”, “Love Me Two Times”, “Riders on the Storm”, “Love Her Madly” and many more! Vanilla Fudge presents original members Mark Stein, Carmine Appice and Vince Martell with Pete Bremy.
Vanilla Fudge was one of the first American bands to infuse psychedelia into heavy rock sound to create “psychedelic symphonic rock”, an eclectic genre that, among its many ramifications, would eventually turn into heavy metal. They are best known for their arrangements of “Ticket to Ride”, “You Keep Me Hangin ‘On” and more!
