Vended, the young metal band starring sons of Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan, have announced a winter tour of the United States in 2021.
With vocalist Griffin Taylor, drummer Simon Crahan, bassist Jeremiah Pugh, and guitarists Cole Espeland and Connor Grodzicki, Vended received a huge boost in 2021. The band has been booked for various Knotfest dates, including Knotfest. Iowa last month. They also gained attention after playing the Pulse of the Maggots virtual festival in 2020 and visiting small clubs earlier this year.
With support from Omerta and Hazing Over, Vended’s winter tour kicks off November 9 in Nashville, Tennessee and ends November 23 in Buffalo, NY Tickets go on sale October 8 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
“I feel like Simon learned a lot more from Joey [Jordison, Slipknot] that he could never teach me, ”Griffin Taylor recently told Slasher Pepper. “So I think that honor should go to Simon, passing on the legacy of Joey Jordison. Because Simon is a damn good drummer. I wouldn’t say better than Joey, because that would be rude. But I’ll say he’s up there with Joey.
